Saturday's I usually have my long distance run planned, but I decided to skip out on that run because we were going to be spending the day hiking. It turns out that it was a good decision! We hiked for several hours and on one of the hikes we did I had to carry my 9 month old baby almost the whole way because we forgot to bring her carrier. I got a leg and arm workout all in one. Today I am sore. Especially my hips. They are killing me.
So here is a little bit about our trip yesterday:
A few weeks ago, my husband and I sat down and planned out our entire summer. We pretty much have something going on every weekend this summer. So this weekend we planned to pack up all three kids and head to Bryce Canyon.
It was both mine and my husband's first trip down there. It was spectacular! It was truly amazing. The pictures really don't do it justice.
This picture is right after our first hike. It was only a 1 mile hike, but it was steep and like I said I was taking turns carrying Avie. It was a tough hike, but it turned out to be a beautiful one.

This is the same hike, almost at the bottom of the canyon.
This is a picture taken from our second hike, which was really more like a walk around the rim of the canyon. The path was paved so we were able to use the stroller on this one.
We had a lot of fun hiking the trails. We definitely want to visit again and try some different trails.
