3.1 Miles.

Today I ran the longest I have ever run. Ever.

I almost died.
It was horrible.
But Awesome.
But really, at mile two I got the worst side ache and really wanted to quit. But I told myself I was NOT going to stop running, and that I was going to make it to three miles.  So I did. And now that run is history.

Here are my stats:

I was a little slower today.  I'm pretty sure the temperature had a little bit to do with it.  I hate running in cooler temperatures.  It's worse for my asthma for one, and I just really hate being cold. I ran earlier than usual and I'm thinking it was only around 50 degrees when I started running, but about halfway through it warmed up, but unfortunately that's when my killer side ache started.  Overall, it was a pretty decent run, and now I know I wont kill over dead at my first race. :) What a relief.

However, I looked up my 5k that I'm running in 12 days and found out that part of the race is a little bit uphill.  I kind of had a mini meltdown when I found that out. Where I run, it's flat. I mean completely flat.  None of this uphill crap. I am NOT prepared for that.

I have 12 days to get prepared.
:)
